My Process

Below I’ll detail my general process of how I go about developing music for a project, so you have an idea of what to expect should you hire me to collaborate on your film…

After establishing initial details of the project (type of score, deadline, etc) I’ll begin developing a sound world for the film, and establishing tones to work with various scenes.

Once we hone in on the most effective sounding music, we’ll score to picture and have cues that fit each scene. I use a program called CueDB to track progress with the scoring process, which you’ll have access to as well.

Once each scene has music that we feel is most effective in enhancing the story, we’ll finish making any fine-tuned last changes. After a cue is 100% done, I’ll deliver final audio stems (groups of instruments) as well as a final stereo mixdown.
