Braden Deal is a film composer, songwriter, and producer.
Braden developed a love for film and filmmaking at an early age when his parents introduced him to films such as Star Wars and E.T. This introduction to cinema inspired him, and made him desire a job in the film industry. Braden wanted to become a director. He made short films with his friends growing up, and worked in various departments on sets.
However, music soon became another passion of his. Braden began to learn various instruments, play in bands, and write his own music. His passion for music became too important to ignore, and Braden brought his passion for music and film together, and began to pursue a career in film composing.
Braden is a guitarist, drummer, and pianist, with hopes to learn more instruments soon. He studied film composition through Berklee College of Music's online program, and received his Masters Certificate in this field.
Braden is a frequent collaborator of Hollywood Scoring. He has composed original scores for numerous films, short films, web series, and other projects over the years. He specializes in hybrid cinematic scores, as well as orchestral, ambient, rock & pop, hip-hop, and minimal acoustic works. His work can be heard on Netflix, Amazon, and other platforms, and has been heard by millions around the world.
He lives in LA with his wife, Liz, and dog, Sophie.
